Spectacular Bushfire Recovery Bellydance Benefit Concert

OMEDA (Organisation for Middle Eastern Dance in Australia) Inc. has joined with the Rotary Club of Caulfield, assisted by the Rotary Clubs of Brighton Beach, Elsternwick and Glen Eira to present a spectacular Middle Eastern Dance Concert showing the amazing diversity of this dance form including Folk, Tribal, Chinese Silk Road Fan Dance, Cabaret and Fusion dances blending different styles, including a special Guest Appearance by the Nirkoda Israeli Folk Dancing Club. All proceeds will go to the Rotary International D9800 Bushfire Recovery Fund.


The Concert will be held on Sunday 5 April at Glen Eira Auditorium, cnr Hawthorn and Glen Eira Roads, South Caulfield at 7pm. Prepaid and Concession $25, Door sales (if available) on the night $30. Members of the CFA will be special guests at the concert as a thank-you for the work which they do.

This blog has been set up to both showcase and share the projects that Victorian Rotary Clubs are undertaking in response to the recent Victorian bushfires in February 2009.
The the blog will highlight some of the tremendous efforts by Rotary Clubs in Victoria who have implemented projects helping bushfire affected communities.
